In Bhagavata Purana (12.2.21), it is further described:
"कल्कि, भगवान् देवदत्ते रथमारूढो

Translation:
"Kalki, the Lord of the universe, will mount his swift horse Devadatta and, wielding a sword, will traverse the earth exhibiting his eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead. Displaying his unequaled effulgence, he will kill by the millions those thieves who have dared dress as kings."
As per the Vishnu Purana (4.24.34), Kalki will be born in the village of Shambhala to a virtuous Brahmin couple, Vishnuyasha and Sumati. This prophecy marks the end of the Kali Yuga and the beginning of a new Satya Yuga.
